It was this colonial look of the café that forced me to stop by while crossing the sirifort road. Diggin is just across the Gargi College. The First things you notice upon reaching here are the bright lit fairy lights twirling all over the fences, bird houses, and the swing, the old school look with a bricked architecture covered by trees is so overwhelming.
Diggin has two floors and also an outdoor sitting arrangement. The ground floor is cozy enough to take you to your wonderland surrounded with cozy cushions and those vintage books. They have arranged things in a very British morning genre.
Coming to food, well you will never regret spending some extra bucks here. To begin with, I had a Belgian chocolate shake, one oreo shake, and a Ferrero rochers shake. All were thick, rich and creamy with full of flavors. Zucchini fries were really nice and crisp and are a must try, semi-healthy option served with a lemon-garlic dip. The beautiful basket in which the fries were served added more character to it. Delhi is already overrated with pizzas but the pizza that I had here were extraordinarily light.
However, I would not recommend pasta for a good option to have here as it was extra loaded with sauces. But this is the only fault that I could find out in digging. Lastly, to satiate my sweet tooth I had Oreo cheesecake which was the best I have ever tasted.
Digging is a perfect place for a date or just for a casual hangout or even with pets (since they are pet-friendly). The budget will not dig a hole in your pocket and it offers you breakfast, brunch, and dinner. The evening is the best time to go there with your loved ones and I am sure that if you are a food lover who keeps hunting for a new taste then this place will prove its worth.
