The World of Wrestling has always been an exciting one, particularly for the young minds. Wrestling comes naturally to all kinds of animals including human beings and that's why no wonder it was one of the earliest games humanity indulged in.
While aggression and violent behaviour are not particularly condoned by societies around the world, the world of organised wrestling is something that finds itself at peace with larger strata of societies. It provides a certain kind of entertainment that has created a safe market for itself.
World Wrestling Entertainment is one of the main sources of such entertainment. Needless to say, we have all grown up watching wrestlers having a go at each other. They climb the top rope, they jump, pack punches, spurt out kicks and apply submissions. The WWE has produced some of the most amazing athletes over time. From the likes of Undertaker to Kane to John Cena to other countless tier two wrestlers.
WWE has always found a staggering number of followers in India. It has also seen a number of Indian wrestlers bracing its fighting arenas. The recent memory pops up the name of 'The Great Khali', the giant of a man who beat up the likes of Big Show and Mark Henry easily in his days.
But more recently another Indian has taken WWE by storm. A giant man but a proper athlete who looks menacing and agile at the same time. The beast of a man Jinder Mahal is not just a foreign element in the narrative of WWE but a champion of great ability.
His real name is Yuvraj 'Raj' Singh Dhesi. Jinder started his career under the shadow of his brother-in-law The Great Khali. After his first fruitless stint with WWE, he came back stronger in 2016 when he beat the then Champion Randy Orton and became the 50th WWE champion.
Given his latest form and confidence with which he retained his championship by beating the challenger and the winner of Royal Rumble Randy Orton, it can be safely said that if he plays smartly and tries to win the audience with a proper strategy he'll be around for many more coming years.
The universe of WWE looks brighter with a wrestler like Jinder Mahal in it. An athlete of his acumen is a prospect not just for WWE but the entire scene of World Wide Wrestling.
